About Us

TAVI MOTORSPORTS is a dedicated family kart racing team located in Danville, CA. With our talented 9-year-old driver, Benjamin, we emphasize sportsmanship, on-track performance, and building community off the track. 


Our local track is AllStar Karting, but you can catch us participating in kart racing events across the West Coast, including local, regional, and national competitions such as ProKart, IKF Grands, Rotax, and ROK. We Proudly Race in partnership with the Leading Edge Motorsports Team

Benjamin

 9 Years old, and a Tae Kwon Do Bodan rank (Blackbelt Candidate), Benjamin serves as our Driver. Benjamin has been racing for a little over a year now and has already achieved numerous podium finishes and has moved up to Regional and National level races. 


When not at the track, Benjamin enjoys Mountain biking, Tennis, Ceramics, Cooking, working on his 1/5th scale gas buggies, and is an avid Cross-Fit athlete! Benjamin is presently the Push-up Champion of our household!!


Benjamin’s long term career goal is to become a Formula 1 Powertrain Development Engineer  or Team Principal for a prominent F1 team.

Nashelli’s Pride and Joy is her family, and she takes special care of us. With a focus on clean eating, a  healthy lifestyle, and an avid exercise regime, she serves as our Drivers Fitness coach and TAVI MOTORSPORTS Health and Wellness Officer - Which is no easy task especially with Dad. She has focused routines for Benjamin to ensure he has the strength and endurance for racing in multiple classes most  weekends.


When not at the track Nashelli enjoys cooking, Yoga, Cross-Fit, reading, hiking, and teaching our Driver various subjects in her dual role as the Tavi Home School Principal.

No stranger to Racing, Joe grew up in Detroit and spent a lot of time with cars, tracks, and motors. After a few SCCA and Viper Days Challenge Races, he finally entered Karting and raced with OVKA, WKA, and SKUSA. Yes, he went from cars to kart racing. Why? Kart racing is challenging, exhilarating, competitive and has a great family atmosphere. It’s hard to beat.  


 When not at the track, Joe enjoys  Motorsports of many types, working on home projects, snowboarding, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
